Monkey Bay 2015 Pinot Gris Blenheim NZ
The
wine is a pale straw in colour that is bright and gleaming in the sun’s rays. The
nose is subdued, given some time open up there’s a waft of green apples and
pears with a perfumed hint of apricot blossom. The palate is delicate with a
soft feel, with some searching I found some crisp green pears and some not
quite ripe apricots that give a grippy clean finish. For me it’s a spring wine
maybe a picnic blanket with some dips and biscuits 15/20 Cheers Gaz
