Duck Duck Goose 2014 Shiraz Barossa Valley SA
A
vibrant Ruby Red that is a little translucent. Charred vanilla oak wafts from
the glass with some dark fruits, I’m thinking Boysenberries and Mulberries that
certainly smell inviting. On the palate wild candied blackberries still on the
bush giving an under growth and savoury gamey twang, oak is in the back ground with nicely
balanced tannins. The finish is full, long and a little warming on par for a 14%
alc. It is great value for money at $14 from Dan’s, we enjoyed it with Beef
Bourguignon 18/20 This is for you Stevie boy Cheers Gaz
