Byron and Harold 2014 Wandering Lane
Chardonnay Southern WA
The
wine is a light gold in colour with great depth. The nose kicks off with chalky
lime stone followed by a hint of apricot blossom and some yeasty lees. A little
chewy but full and lush with some grippy acid, floral notes of stone fruit and
a pinch of white peaches with nicely balanced toasty oak. The wine is nice now
but given some time the acid will mellow allowing the fruit to shine 16/20
cheers Gaz
