Cofield 2015 Chardonnay Rutherglen

A
very light colour almost pewter that is polished to a high sheen. The nose has
notes of floral and citrus with under tones of chalky talc power. The palate is
tight with a nuttiness that leads me to find apricot kernels. There is stone
fruits that falls on the side of crisp apricots with acid in balance to give a
clean fresh finish. I think it would go nicely with a warm scallop salad. 16/20
