Parcels
of fruit come from the far north of St Joseph in the Rhone Valley. A ripe
cherry in colour that fades out towards the rim. White pepper smack you in the
face, quite dominate hard to get past and fine anything else on the nose. White
pepper and dark fruits on the palate, the tannins and acid are soft with a little
twiggy coming from fermentation with some stalks. It’s a nice wine, 15/20 Tasted
at Valhalla’s Shiraz of the world event. Cheers Gaz
