It
reminds me of blood plums or blackberry coulis, a dark black purple so rich in
colour. Candied Boysenberry’s leap from the glass, followed by a little green
moss and under growth from the Daintree rainforest. It is lovely to the nose
setting my expectations pretty high for the taste. I am thinking Boysenberry
ice-cream as the candy fruit comes through followed by some green twigs; the
tannins are soft with the oak in harmony. A fantastic wine indeed that went
very well with braised beef ribs. Thank you, Steve, for the tip. 18/20
Yummolicious Cheers Gaz
