Toi Toi Clutha Central Otago 2014 Pinot Noir

A bright Ruby in colour that glistens under the down lights. The nose is slightly closed I had to work to find dark black cherries with some stalkiness and a little pop of oak, American dominate I am thinking. Nice chewy tannins with a full feel, dark cherries and a little under growth of wild blackberry type all come together with a crisp finish that sits on the palate nicely. We enjoyed this little baby with crunchy pork belly, a perfect match. A NZ pinot under $20 is great value for money. 17/20 Cheers Gaz
