Franklin Tate Estate 2015 Traditional Chardonnay

A light gold in colour with a nice clear sparkle to it. Some floral and citrus notes lift from the glass, followed by inviting limestone from cool underground caves. The feel is lush and textual on the palate that coats the tongue giving great length. There are ripe melons, nice oak and soft tannins with balanced acid. This is a full rich style from yester year, so let’s hope old becomes the new as I love this style. I feel a little time will complete it and make a perfect wine. 18/20 Cheers Gaz
