Ribera Del Duero, Spain
A dark plum in colour that is sparkling like a Ruby under the
down light. A hint of oak pops out with a tickle of my nostrils from
a gentle waft of alcohol. With a swirl of the glass and some coaxing cherries
and chocolate appear. From the nose to the palate the chocolate and cherries
flow with slightly grippy tannins that balance against a smooth silky feel, a
little white pepper on the finish. We enjoyed this with a well matched char
grilled porterhouse. 14/20 Cheers Gaz
