D’Arenberg 2010 The Hermit crab Viognier/Marsanne SA, Aust

These classic grape varieties are commonly grown to the south of France in the Rhone Valley. It is light straw in colour with a lovely sparkle like a crystal decanter dancing in the suns rays. On the nose are floral notes of a lemon blossom, followed by some sea shells and bruised green grass. Creamy and smooth fleshy feel in the mouth, some white nectarines and a sherbet

  1. Great review Gaz! Thank you. Particularly like this 'light straw in colour with a lovely sparkle like a crystal decanter dancing in the suns rays' If you want to quit wine educating I reckon you'd have a good career as a poet!
