Made in Rutherglen, Victoria by Simon Killeen using King Valley fruit. It’s
a light white gold in colour with an ever so slight green tinge. On the first
sniff those chalky lime stone caves of Champagne come to mind, then tropical
fruits of Lychee’s and Rambutan’s. The palate is textual, lush and coats the
whole of your mouth. The acid is soft allowing those tropical fruits to shine.
It’s not a NZ fruit bomb nor does it need to be, but it's a lovely, well balanced
and structured wine. It is worth a trying maybe with salt and pepper Calimari. 16/20 Cheers Gaz
