LOIRE VALLEY Sauvignon Blanc

Du Val De Loire. A light pewter in colour that is crystal clear, bright and shiny. Tropical fruits of gooseberries and passion fruit pop from the glass, leading to fresh cut glass and a hint of seaside minerals. Quite voluptuous in the mouth with a silky feel, makes me think of Nigella. The gooseberries and grassiness come through along with sea mist and limestone, the acid has a little bite that cleans the palate ready for another sip. I would suggest pan seared scallops with a sage and burnt butter sauce. Great value for Money $ 8 at Aldi’s 16/20 cheers Gaz
