Kim Crawford 2014 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc
A pale straw in colour with a green tinge towards the edge of the glass. First some
mineral limestone with blossom of the apricot type, then a whiff of lemon &
lime citrus notes. The structure is full & tight with a great balance of
fruit & acid. There’s Kiwi fruit & green granny smith apples, I’m also
getting some green twigs towards the finish. A refined style not a big bowl of
fruit salad that is a lovely wine to drink maybe perfect with freshly shucked
oysters. 14/20 Cheers Gaz
