Devil’s Corner 2010 Chardonnay, Tas – Aus

This is a light gold in colour with a greenish hue, crunchy brown pavlova with some yeasty bread notes followed by faint lemon and lime citrus on the nose. White fleshy stone fruit in my cheeks with some crisp white peaches & pears. Now there’s some creamy yeast, oak is playing hide and seek but I know it there. At the end of the glass now some honeycomb fresh from a hive. It’s not a block buster but it’s a lovely style either as an afternoon tipple or matched with a salad of calamari or other shellfish. Cheers Gaz
