Squealing Pig 2014 Pinot Noir, Central Otago, NZ
It is a light cherry red in colour with a lovely shine to it.
Dusty oak pops out first then some dark forest fruits like Mulberries on the
jammy side, along with a little leafiness. A smooth and very dry feel to the
palate, it is full and long lasting with it being all in harmony. There are
stewed Raspberries and Strawberries with soft tannins that give a little kick
at the end. It is great value for money @ $20 from Vintage Cellars; it would go
great with BBQ quails. 16/20 Cheers Gaz
