The wine is a rich dark cherry red in colour with great depth. On
the nose there is dusty oak up front with green herbaceous leaves, finishing
off with dark fruits and a hint of star anise. The palate is dominated by a
green leafiness along with grippy tannin’s, the feel is a bit thin and the
finish is quite short. The fruit is there but you need to search to find hints
of blackberries. It is a pleasant wine that needs a little more time to mellow the
tannin’s allowing the fruit to shine. 14.5/20 Cheers Gaz
