Fromm Wines, Marlborough NZ. A dark black purple in colour that reminds me of ripe blackberry juice.
Dusty oak on the nose, blackberries on the bush that transcends me to picking
blackberries at Noojee as a child. There’s a leafy herbal bush aroma mixed with
a compote of blackberries. As a 13 year old wine it’s drinking like a 5 year
old, wow so soft, full and round. Blackberries just keep coming through with
some green leafy under tones, now comes fine oak with soft tannins giving a dry
clean finish. What a fantastic wine, I think charred grilled beef
ribs would a nice match. 18/20 Cheers Gaz
