Chapel Hill 2013 Parson’s nose Cabernet Sauvignon McLaren Vale

Dark blood plum in colour with great depth and a lovely sheen. On the nose there is defined cab sauv aromas of dark fruits of the forest with nice toasty oak. Up front it has nice acidity that gives way to a compote of fresh blackberries and black currents, soft tannins and oak in the back ground. It lingers on the palate with a clean and fresh finish. It’s nice now but will improve with time. 18/20 points. We enjoyed it with slow braised Beef cheeks and root vegies, a prefect combo Cheers Gaz
