Kumeu River 2008 Village Pinot Nior
In the mouth there are Mushrooms and other fungi with some damp earth, it is like I’ve climbed down in to a damp cave with green moss adorning the walls and pristine mineral water flowing though. The fresh strawberry’s now have change to macerated ones with the nose starting off with damp hay leading in time to green vegetation on the forest floor. Although the colour is on the lighter side garnet the wine still has a good punch of flavour, backed with structured tannins. I love it for value for money ****
